Meetings Galore: Updates you may want to hear

Hi all,
I spent over 4 hours of precious study time this week in meetings, on your behalf, all over the place.

One of those meetings was with the principal! You might all be pleased to hear that the principal opted to follow up on some of the concerns we had with him in our first meeting. He organized a meeting with MITS and us so as to ensure they know of our Technology issues.

In his opening remarks, the principal said to the MITS bosses (in essence) 'These gentlemen are from the class of 2015, and they staged what a normal day in their class was like.' He went on to state his displeasure with it.

You were all represented by

3. Gavin Austin, IT Team
4. Kadeem Knight, IT Team

Long story short: In a week and a half (from last thursday) we have been promised the following things:

1. We will be able to communicate with Montego Bay! We will be able to SEE and HEAR them and dialogue back and forth with them. (Esp. since they have beauty queens down there...that has added advantages :p)
   
2. PCLT will be SEEN from PLT, and will be HEARD without that 'dancehall sounding thing' (<---Principal's words...not mine) and that you can sit wherever you are in PCLT and ask the question
3. There will be internet in PLT 
4. Improved Audio :D :D :D 
5. Projector fixed in PCLT. 

But seeing that in a week and a half we'll not be in classes...come next semester expecting your money's worth...I guess.

In all honesty though...I feel accomplished!

• We opened a bank account (that takes more work than you can imagine)
• We're getting lots of improved technology 
• We FINALLY selected a jersey 
• We have multiple choice questions on the internet...thanks to VPI Silvera
• We lost a football match :( --- but exercise is good for you?
• We had no Docs on Deck :(
• We had a fundraiser (White Tee and Sweats Day)
• We're the only MBBS Class without a GMail...but with better technology Blogspot <3
• We had 'Kulcha Day'
• We have class devotions and prayers
• We have Queens in our class ;)
• Now ALL we have to do is pass our exams     <----------(that's my best joke ever)
