JAMSA Executive

Dear All,


  1. JAMSA will be re-opening its nominations tomorrow Monday, March 28. The deadline will be on Friday, April 8 at 4:00 pm. Forms may be retrieved from either the Basic Medical Sciences Office or the Dean's Office or they can be printed from this email's attachment. Please return the completed forms to one of these offices. 
         Nominees will be interviewed on Monday, April 11. Those who are interested in Council positions please
         read the attached constitution.

The following positions are open:

  • SCOME-Director
  • SCOPH-Director
  • Special Projects Chairperson
  • IT Representative
  • Fundraising Chairperson
  • Cultural and Entertainment Activities Chairperson
  • Sports Representative
  •  Information Technology Representative & Webmaster
     2. Unfortunately the SCORA nominees (Aleicia Hamilton and Gaynelle Menzies) were not on the ballot. As a
         result, there will be an internal election. We are currently waiting on the electoral officers to finalize a date 
         for the election.


     3. Everton Hylton is the new Vice President of Internal Affairs due to the withdrawal of the nomination from
         the other nominee. 


     4. Here is the board at present that will serve you for the academic year 2011-2012:
