Come One, Come All! Come Tell Your Drunk Story!
The Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) presents “SOBER: The Anti-Alcohol Abuse Campaign”.
On Thursday, November 17, 2011, there will be a place in the PLT for everyone! Share with us why you drink or don’t drink, a regretful tale of intoxication, an account of a loved one lost to drunk driving, a nameless friend’s embarrassing story; whatever’s on your mind.
Not bold enough? Can’t make it on the day? No problem! Anonymous notes/ letters are now being collected. Jhoelle Beckford has the private box every day, so feel free to just drop something in. You’ll be helping out our brothers and sisters in the struggle.
There will also be a competition for the best performance (song, poem, skit; anything) discouraging alcohol abuse. $6,000 CASH PRIZE!!!
