RE: REGISTRATION FOR 4TH YEAR

 All students MUST have completed Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 Semester 1 courses.All students MUST have financial clearance presently. (i.e., up to theend of year 3.

3 Ensure that your password is valid.

4 Ensure you have reliable internet access.

5 Students in Montego Bay MUST secure their own internet access.

6 Registration will be for 4^th year ONLY. NOT for 5^th year. If you register for 5^th year, ALL your registration will be lost- including your 4^th year selections.

7Communication to YOU will be made via the official UWI Mona email addresses. Of note, please update the personal information section in your SASS with your phone numbers, email etc.

8The schedule for 4^th year has not as yet been given to us. When it is available it will be made available.

9 We will be selecting courses NOT GROUPS (as done with previous years).

1Certain rotations have co-requisites. For example, when you do Opthalmology you MUST also register for 

Anaesthesia & Orthopaedics for the SAME time slot. (This will be colour coded on the schedule that will be given to us. You will better understand it, when you see it.)

1Sites cannot be selected on OurVLE without registration on SASS.

1Overrides can be requested PER COURSE and will have to be approved by Prof. Pierre. i.e., there is a lag time.

1You MUST register for Semester 1 AND Semester 2 at the same time. Semester 1 is THREE blocks and ends on November 1. Thereafter, is Semester 2.

1 I do not know when the registration will be open. I do not know when the schedule will be given to us. I do not know whether or not the Bahamians will be given preferential offerings for Pathology and Microbiology first.
