Hey guys,

2k15's after exam link up will be this Wednesday night (December 21) at the "Village Blues Bar" (located in Orchid Village, across from BK in Liguanea) from 7pm - 1am. 

 

Come de-stress and finally get into the holiday vibe with our fellow classmates before we all fly or trod it home. All our med brothers and sisters ie. 

 

2k16 and 2k14 peeps are specially invited!

ALL STUDENTS IN GROUPS 1 AND 2 MUST ARRIVE AT THE PRECLINICAL LECTURE THEATRE (PCLT) BY THE LATEST 8:40 AM.


ALL STUDENTS IN GROUPS 3 AND 4 MUST ARRIVE AT THE PHYSIOLOGY LECTURE THEATRE (PLT) BY THE LATEST 11:45 AM.


EACH STUDENT MUST BRING ALONG HIS/HER OWN LAB COAT AND CLIP BOARD FOR THE OSPE.

ABSOLUTELY, NO CELLULAR PHONES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION.

Just want to remind all you gentle people about our beach trip on Thursday, December 22 aka

the day after our last exam!!!!

We are heading out to The BoardWalk for a day of fun and frolic with our fellow classmates

(and annnnnnnnnnnny one else you choose to bring)!

AFTER RSVP-ing …. remember to pay up to KimSam or Shari IMMEDIATELY after our

Endo Exam (Friday December 16) especially if you want food as that is the final day to submit

our order to the proprietors of The BoardWalk. ULTIMATE DEADLINE to purchase entrance

tickets will be the day of our final exam (December 21). You know you don't want to miss out on

this opportunity!

Costs:

Entrance ONLY- $200 (includes a cup of fish soup and 2 festivals)

Round trip bus transportation and Entrance- $600

Jerked Chicken and bread- $350

Fried Fish and 2 Festivals- $650

Transportation Information: The buses will leave promptly at 9am from Pure and Applied

Parking Lot (For those driving please be at The Boardwalk by 9:45 am). The buses will be

leaving Boardwalk at 4 pm

Stethoscope Confirmation

Hello everyone,

 I want to wish you the best of luck on your preparations. During the difficult times, always remember "in the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins. Not through strength but through persistence".

 Also, we want everyone to be fully satisfied with the purchase of their personal clinical equipment. So, to ensure we meet and surpass your expectations, a confirmation list is presented below. We are asking everyone to review this list CAREFULLY, as this is the respective order we have on our system for you. 

Please look for your name and order and do the "3 point check", check for the:

         1. Type of Package, whether Classic S.E II, Cardiology III or Equipment only

         2. Color of your Stethoscope.

               -NOTE: Like any picture, the actual colour may have some shade variation from what is seen on your screen.

         3. ENGRAVING- 

               -Most important because engravings are permanent and can NOT be returned. Remember the maximum is 14 characters including spaces  

                and punctuations.

               -So we advice that you double check the spelling carefully, then have it reviewed by your best friend while your mother okays it with 

                your father.

 If there are any changes to be made, please email them to Rani (ranisittol@gmail.com) as soon as possible, with the subject of the email "Change to My Order". Please send all corrections before Thursday 5pm as the finalized list will be sent off to the supplier at this time. If no correction email is received it will indicate that your order details are correct and final.

My interaction with the class has been great and I want to encourage you to continuing to work hard (so you have an excuse to have ridiculous amounts of fun during the holiday period).
