REGISTRATION

Good afternoon students,

It has come to our attention that the system for registration is open for the academic period – ‘Semester 1 2012/2013’. As a result, the forms you have submitted to the Dean’s Office for “Late Registration” will not be accepted by SAS. Therefore, for those of you who are not registered correctly, it is your duty to go online and make the necessary adjustments to your registration. Acute Stroke Symposium


The Department of Medicine cordially invites all medical students to attend
the Acute Stroke Symposium: Bridging the Gap. This will be held on July
20-21,2012 at the Main Medical Lecture Theatre. There is a $250 registration fee for medical students. You are the future clinicians; it is vital that you are exposed to first
world acute stroke care.

The collaboration between the American Heart Association and our
department, seeks to transform the University Hospital of the West Indies
into an Acute Stroke Centre. This will be the first of its kind in the
English speaking Caribbean.
